A printer is a company that provides
commercial printing services, often also
offering typesetting and book-binding
services. The term can also refer to
people who operate printing presses, or
who run printing companies.
With the invention of the moveable type
printing press by Johannes Gutenberg
around 1450, printing — and printers —
proliferated throughout Europe.
Today, printers are found throughout the
